CURRENTLY IN SOUTH-EAST SUBURBS OF MELB BUT OPEN TO ALL.
Supportive Cuppas is a free social-support group with some distinct differences from most other support groups. It’s been put together with 3 intentions:
1. Provide a safe, non-judgmental space for people to share their challenges
``` 1st third of meet up- Round the table like days of old before smart phones where everyone sat around the table share some tid-bits and a cuppa whilst safely and respectfully sharing what’s going on for you. THE DIFFERENCE: If you are ok with it, feedback/ ideas/ insights from others can be given as a means of proactive workshopping support. The intention is to share but not just stop there, lets together actually move forward, heal, and thrive.
```
2. Videos/workshops/info and tools
```
2nd third of meet up – A topic will be explored and discussed to help build skills, tools, insight. These will be free and their aim is to build a solution and thrive focus, build confidence, even when things feel awful in life.
```
3. Socialise and connect
```
3rd third of meet up -Meet new people, make new connections and support networks. Yes we are on our individual journey but we don’t have to be alone all the time. Having people to reach out to, talk with or just chill with is one of the greatest riches in life.
Life, especially when going through stuff can feel lonely, Supportive Cuppas is there to relieve or help with that.
These will be fortnightly met ups or (eventually) weekly TBA
As a trained + registered counsellor with lived experience I know what it’s like when times are tough, when going through a dark night of the soul, dealing with trauma and adversity.
It is my hope through this group that the struggle, defeatedness, and sense of hopelessness is dissolved and replaced with possibility, hope and positive actualisation and have cozy fun doing it.
The approach of this group is non-clinical, non-judgmental, inclusive of all, and spiritual-philosophical-non-denominational.
Naturally; respect, compassion, non-aggression, tolerance and openness are a must, no exceptions.
If you are open to growth, healing, connecting and learning then join us for a cuppa, a supportive cuppa.
This group is managed via meetup.com, its free to open an account with meetup.com and the group is free as well, when you click the link it will re-direct you there.
